First British example of the weevil - gasterocercus depressirostris trapped in my VC15 moth trap on 27/9. A rare species in its central and Southern European range. Well worth potting anything unusual, not just moths!
As we head into Autumn, there are still plenty of butterflies and moths to spot in your gardens and local green spaces! 🍂🦋
