@DaloraxF@franklinlorax Well that’s true but also quarantine has been helping with that to reduce toxic atmospheric pollutant by making everyone bike and walk for exercise! #apesair@franklinlorax
Motor vehicles emit harmful gases such as C02, CO, NO. Particulate matter, consisting of tiny particles of smoke, is also emitted. The emissions have caused the atmospheric CO2 concentrations to increase by 40% since pre-industrial times. @franklinlorax#apesair
when we drive our cars NOx comes out of our tailpipes and into the air that can pollute the air. to have less of the this we can carpool with other people, ride our bikes, or walk to places to reduce the amount of NOx realeased into the air. @franklinlorax#apesair
The ozone layer protects us from UV Radiation. Another form of protection from UV Radiation is sunscreen. In summertime we all should wear SPF in order to lower our risk of skin cancer! @franklinlorax#apesair
Due to the emissions from tailpipes, the NOx that comes out mixes with the air and creates dangerous air levels. We can help to stop this by carpooling or riding bikes. @franklinlorax#apesair
Motor vehicles release nitrogen oxides (NOx), harmful pollutants, into the atmosphere. With the safer at home act, less people are on the roads. This means the amount of NOx released from motor vehicles is reduced! #apesair@franklinlorax
Naturally occurring stratospheric ozone protects us from harmful UV radiation. But because CFCs destroy the stratospheric ozone, we are left exposed to the UV radiation and have to wear sunscreen to stay safe from the sun @franklinlorax#apesair
This is photo of my grandmas water machine— H2O, water is apart of the ocean acidification process as it combines with CO2 to form H2CO3 known as carbonic acid!! 🌎💧 @franklinlorax#apesair
This is an example of a hot spot. This is when a plate is forced under another plate. This forces molten rock through the crust forming volcanoes. This is how the Hawaiian Islands were formed. @franklinlorax#apesland
The San Andreas fault is a continental transform fault in the state of California. The plates in the fault slide against eachother for form the fault. Hopefully it stays in tact and we don’t end up like the Rock in the movie San Andreas #apesland@franklinlorax
At my house, we use an electric stove which is a “heavy-draw appliance.” This means it uses quite a lot of power (1500 watts per hour). In order to conserve energy, my family reduces their overall cook time. #apesenergy@franklinlorax
As you can see my fan is not on right now, when it’s not necessary to have my fan on, I keep it off. Keeping it on, especially when I’m not home, could be more wasteful then beneficial. This is a great way to save energy! #apesenergy@franklinlorax
