Hi, I'm free.
Beat up but fine. Police stole my phone. Settlers punched me in the face several times, likely broke @AdeleShoko's wrist and gave @the_andrey_x a concussion. They threatened to shoot us with an assault rifle over and over.
Will tell the full story later, but for now, I just want to be clear about what happened. We witnessed two settlers locking a military gate in Umm al-Khair, blocking the only way to more than twenty Palestinian communities: trapping families inside, preventing students from reaching school and workers from their jobs, blocking delivery of food and access to ambulances, etc.
It's a crime that the military has this ability at all--but last night, we discovered that random settler terrorists also have the key. We confronted them and began asking questions on camera, and they nearly murdered us for it. When the police finally arrived, they arrested Andrey and me and charged us with assault.
The gate is still locked.
Ben Shapiro went on a Jewish podcast yesterday and said that Israel's top-performing Arab party should be banned following their electoral success, then did his own show and told his audience that Arabs voting is proof Israel isn't an apartheid state.
The chutzpah is incredible.

Remember the settler who ran over a Palestinian by the side of the road? Kind of hard to forget. He was never charged with a crime and had now been arrested for his involvement in the brutal attack on Washing Post photojournalist Heidi Levine.
"My brigade killed 160 to 170 people . Only one man was suspected of carrying a weapon. No one saw the weapon; it was night, and he had something with him that could have been interpreted as a weapon. all of these dead were reported as terrorists."
10 IDF soldier testimonies:
A hilltop settler admits they burn Palestinian homes and Yinon Magal abruptly ends the interview.
It began with Magal trying to link an attack to the young man’s outpost, only for him to clarify that it wasn’t as close as Magal suggested. But things got even more uncomfortable when he complained that hilltop youth are punished for burning Palestinian homes, comparing their treatment to that of anti-government protesters who burn cars.
When asked if burning a house was acceptable, he never answered. Magal quickly took back the microphone and ended the exchange.
The whistleblower is living in witness-protection and the UAE is threatening economic sanctions but yeah Man City is just a “football club” with a kind hearted investor
