You need 1200 years of scholarly scaffolding just to figure out basic rulings. If Quran and Sunnah were clear and complete, four madhhabs and endless disagreements wouldnt exist.
"Just Moslem" sounds pure until the religion needs that entire apparatus to function.

Being “just Muslim” is the foundation. A madhhab is the methodology.

I myself follow Hanafi thoughts of school, doesn’t mean worshipping Abu Hanifa instead of Allah or following him above Muhammad ﷺ. It means relying on a juristic tradition that derived rulings from the Qur’an, Sunnah, Ijma‘ and Qiyas.

You don’t become more purely Muslim by rejecting 1,200 years of scholarship. You become responsible for knowing the methodology behind the rulings you claim to follow.
