Thanks for the thoughts and reminiscences, everyone. I know how much you liked it, which made this a really tough decision.

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

@Favstar Aw, thanks. Keep on fighting the good fight!

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

I am sad, but it's time to say goodbye to Stellar. Thank you all so much for using the site. More here: https://t.co/nsOyDEBCY1

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

I was going to have time to get Stellar back up this week, but then this. Sorry. :( :( :( https://t.co/T5D4K8lDWd

[Jason Kottke @jkottke]

Apologies if @kottke's a little sparse this week; I got hit by a car (sounds bad but I'm fine!) and I'm down to one thumb for a short while.

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

5/ Anyway, I will see what I can do about getting the site back up when I can. Again, I'm sorry for the outage.

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

4/ So basically I don't know what to do. Ppl still love the site, but it's a lot for me. Too much. But I don't want to take it away.

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

3/ And there's functionality broken all over the site and I'm not actively dev'ing, so I feel bad asking for more $$$.

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

2/ Stellar sort of breaks even now, but I'm not sure I can justify the extra expense for the new DB.

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

1/ Hi, sorry, I know Stellar is down. I'm dealing w/ some other shit in my life right now *and* I need a bigger DB (which costs more $$$).

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

@marcdalio IG stuff is still in alpha testing, sorry.

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

@veatch Nope, I don't have anything to do w/ CC info…Stripe handles all that. Sending you an email soon w/ info...

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

@sharri1 You need a Fun Pass membership to get invites. https://t.co/aKQ7jcMJVq

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

@anildash @RobDrimmie …because it is basically what Stellar does.

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

@anildash @RobDrimmie I have lots of thoughts on this. I wish I had the time to write them down. In short: I like what Twitter is doing.

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

Will post larger update soon, but Fun Pass resubs are happening. If you want to change your sub or cancel or whatever, drop me a line.

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

Ok, added more memory to the DB and Bob's your uncle. I'm probably not using that right, but I do have an uncle named Bob.

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

Oy, Stellar is down. For secret reasons. (I'm pretty sure I need a bigger DB server. Which I hope I can afford…)

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

Soundcloud embeds have been busted on the site for awhile; they are now fixed. See 3rd item here for example http://t.co/Z6BBacR2wZ

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

@andrewbarnett You are not. I am working on it right now.

[Stellar @yo_stellar]

@aegirthor Different problem. Twitter just up and switched their avatar URLs with no redirection. Working on that one right now.
