I'm pretty sure that $TAPLY (@usetaply) was launched by @mandenruss, the serial scammer dev behind $GIVEST (@usegivest).
Same geographic location (Denmark), same copy-pasted features, identical APK drops, and identical "App Store soon" promises. Even the hands in the promo videos posted by @usegivest and @usetaply have the exact same skin tone, same nails (that he didn't cut recently), etc.
He also likely launched another project recently, $PONSPAD. He was the only one who retweeted the contract address right after launch before it rugged, and he then deleted his RT (check pic).
People are still holding $GIVEST just because @theunipcs is. But the dev abandoned ship long ago. He's already on side quests running fresh scams.

Wanted to expand on a tweet i made earlier this week about how difficult it is for low port trenchers in these conditions. This tweet was geared towards the casual trencher, guys with a 9-5 who can’t afford to sit on the scope & twitter trackers 24/7
This was me this past year, thought i’d share some tips & the rules I followed to turn a lot into a little as a guy who had a full time job & maintained a regular social life.
I started with 1k in January and ran it to 1.2m at port ath’s*
1. Steer clear of new pairs. My most important rule was don’t ape coins that were less than 15-24hrs old. Of course there were some exceptions, but this eliminated a lot of garbage and increased my odds of success quite dramatically imo. If a coin was still alive after a day & the community was active, more often than not, entries were presented sub 100k. Not only that, it gave you time to do some further DD.
2. Forget tweet coins/quick catalyst plays, just ignore them entirely. If you don’t have a twitter tracker, you are competing against guys who are terminally online & are much quicker and skilled than you. Not worth the risk with a small port
3. Rather than sit on the scope, I would try to find memes myself on different social platforms. I’d set up a fresh TT account and scroll without bias, the feed would just feed me the most viral stuff.
-Few things to look for: New vids with a couple of hundred k likes. If multiple people post the same meme/event with that level of engagement, it’s a good sign that it’s going viral.
- Once you identify a good meme, then go to x or whatever app you use and search to see if a coin has been made
- When you find these memes yourself rather than relying on others or just seeing a random new coin on memescope, it’s so much easier to build conviction and hold longer
4. If you find something early and think it will continue to build, hold. Ignore chasing other stuff. 1k can buy you % of a sub 100k coin. 1% of a coin can change your life. Stop thinking you need to make the money TODAY, let it cook. Can’t tell you how many times i’ve cut positions to try to buy back and got burnt.
Social trading has definitely changed the game, and discovery is much easier, but I feel like the tips listed above gave me a good opportunity of success in such a highly competitive space.
That’s all, hope some find it useful. Again this is aimed towards people just entering the space or those who can’t be chronically online. GL
Day 2 of dropping tips for new memecoin traders all November.
Protecting your capital.
Wanted to get this across early, especially for anyone just starting out.
Your first goal in the trenches isn’t to make exponential gains, it’s to survive long enough to learn.
You don’t join a new video game and skip straight to the final boss.
You play, fail, learn the controls, get a feel for timing, and level up slowly.
Trading’s the same thing.
Your capital is your hearts in the game, once they’re gone, it’s game over.
The market doesn’t care that it’s your first week, it will humble you fast.
If you’ve got a respectable amount to start with yeah, you can lose it for a more painful lesson, but you don’t have to.
When starting out:
• Pretend to enter plays, watch how they move, track how you would’ve done.
• Or if you really want to take it seriously open a docs and log it with market cap, entry, exit, what went right or wrong.
• Don’t rush to make money, learn the flow first. Once you start seeing patterns thats when you can start bidding more and more.
• Keep asking questions. Why did this coin run? Why did it get vamped? Why did people dump fast? Why did others ape instantly? The more you understand the why, the faster you level up.
• Don’t get too greedy for higher returns, If you’re sitting on a 3x, 4x, 5x and it’s a big part of your portfolio feel free to trim some. It’s not money until you take it. Unrealized profits vanish very very fast with memecoins, it can go from 100 to 0 real quick.
Protecting your capital gives you more chances to hit the right one.
When you’re new you don’t know shit and that’s fine.
Just make sure you’re still here with some sol left when somthing finally clicks.

the most important tip of trading no one will tell you…
If you miss a coin (where you see everyone else is) or if you simply sold early,
Don't keep looking at it every day, every hour, just move on to the next one. It doesn't matter if you lost generational money, if you lost money, or if you earned very little.
NEXT
Many coins simply have a ceiling (although not everyone tells you this). Narratives have a MC ceiling. Don't trade for FOMO.
This, personally, is one of the factors where most traders lose (they trade for FOMO, buy back to say they're in), or they simply get carried away by other people's posts saying, "This is the new PNUT."
Just next
These coins have all reached their relative peaks. Don't fantasize about a short-term return to the peak.
To explode in price, it either needs its own hot topic to drive it, or it needs deeper growth empowerment
Otherwise, the exchange series of good news can't continuously push the market cap.
Forget about going back, get ready to welcome the next one
In short, stay alive!
