one thing about prediction markets that took me a while to understand:

you’re not really betting on an asset.

you’re betting on an outcome.

that distinction is pretty important.

BTC can go up and you can still be wrong about a specific prediction. A prediction market forces the question to be much more precise: what exactly do you think is going to happen?

that’s one reason i’ve been paying attention to @themoonclave

they’re taking that idea and bringing it into crypto, where people are already making predictions about literally everything
