You could go $5k in on gear and run a DJ business on one of these. Just raw DJ controller to speakers (if providing your own for a few bars w/ bad sound), then upgrading to better speakers and power/audio stack. With full video output from the iPad and/or MacMini.

Only controller I'd ditch my trusty SX2 for in this market. Wow. 4 layer mapping mode WHEN? Potential iOS integration someday? I hope.

This could change the game at a mobile/bar level forreal. 3 acceptably sized local gigs and you might get one of these bad boys.

Fine. Say you get the flight case ($350) and some cables/adapters, and an aight SSD ($100 for 1 or for 2x $50 ones). USB-C hub (a good one with HDMI and ethernet). Magic Keyboard case ($300). Laptop stand ($130). Some good ole Sennheiser Headphones ($100). Two SM-58's. XLR. (4/?)

Depends, thats why imo edits should be transitions/mashups that are v hard/impossible to do live. Edits are a fun way of adding suspense/surprise to ur set. Some djs legit are lazy and make every transition beforehand -call them edits - including double drops. 2/2
