Yep. This is the real body showing its real face.
Imagine this is their reaction to a random audio that's gone viral.
Now, imagine how they have legally gone after journalists who have said things that they have been unable to prove, over the past couple of years — some of those things we KNOW are true, but couldnt get the affected persons or documents to come forward to corroborate.
Should we give you names of respected sports journos/pundits who dont bother doing that hard stuff anymore because of these suits? A few: Nabila. Songo. Julian. Atta Poku. And others.
You people want which sports journalists to speak to power? The majority of sports journos who are being paid GHS 5k a month, or less? Note: people like me, Akoto, Obama, BKB, Ayala, Fent, Rahman and a few others you know are not among the majority — our lifestyles are anot the norm at all.
The President of the Sports Writers Association of Ghana was here in the USA on the ticket of this same body. Yes, he is an incorruptible man, but how do you expect the up and coming sports journalist in a small station in Nkroful or JamesTown to have the courage to speak up with such optics?
You want the journalists whose media houses dont even have lawyers for normal cases, let alone defamation suits, you won't them to "speak truth to power"?
The same sports journos who suddenly have strange cars and motorbikes following them when they do "hot" programs? Strange phone calls speaking strange languages to them at strange hours?
Or @Chiefseiduadamu, who was OPENLY assaulted at a gathering by a bodyguard affiliated to this body, with witnesses present, and nothing came of it?
Or the ones, like me, whose ENTIRE stations got blacklisted from covering Ghana Premier League matches (when everyone else is given permission to do so, thereby denying us of important revenue) — simply because I did a video that criticised the GFA boss for working to go for a third term? Video here: https://t.co/jjdlMbZ6Ff
Because of the above video, my ENTIRE station has not been given accreditation to cover Black Stars matches by the GFA for almost a year now — and we have had to get accredited through third parties.
Read that again.
Are these the sports journalists whose lives, families and livelihoods are at stake that you expect to speak truth to power for you?
A whole @anasglobal — one of the greatest investigative journos in our country's history — was brought to his proverbial knees after investigating the GFA. His assistant was MURDERED. It didnt happen on Mars; it happened at Madina, in Accra, in Ghana.
You people — all of you — are not serious. Maybe some of you dont know this, so I'll forgive you.
But those of you who know this, and still expect us to work normally in such hostile conditions — you are all mad. Moabobɔ dam.
Properly empower journalists. And watch us do magic. Otherwise, dont waste our fucking time.
Have a good day.
🚨 Cristiano Ronaldo: “I will wake up tomorrow with same mood as I did today. I did my best”.
“I won three titles with Portugal, before me it was ZERO titles. I can only be happy”.
Bellingham may have scored two goals and made last man tackle to deny a sure equaliser, but as a pure football fan, I’d rather he doesn’t do all of that but instead make 70 touches, 80 completed passes, and 10 spins in midfield to prove to me that he’s a pure central midfielder.
🚨 Cristiano Ronaldo: “I will not be ‘more Cristiano’ if we win the World Cup, or ‘less Cristiano’ if we don’t win it”. 🏆🇵🇹
“I’m grateful to life. I’m enjoying every single day, I’ve been lucky. I learned to enjoy day by day”.
I hate the nose blindness that occurs w perfume. I’m tired of everybody telling me I smell good but I can’t smell it. I don’t buy this shit for yall. now what’s the solution?!
Oh you mean the 35 year old journeyman who has only scored more than 9 goals in a season only once in his whole career; who has been relegated 6 times in 12 years, and whose most recent club just got relegated to the 3rd division (and promptly released him as a free agent), wasn't qualified to captain and lead the line for one of Africa's most important world cup teams?
You mean his surname shouldn't have given him an automatic starting spot and >70 mins guaranteed playing time in every game, keeping better players on the bench for no reason? You mean after he was taken off and the player that replaced him gave Ghana its only win at the tournament, that player shouldn't have been rewarded by being padlocked to the bench for the rest of the tournament even when Ghana desperately needed a goal?
You don't say.
Eventually someone will break this bullshit conspiracy of silence one day, and they will tell the true story of what the hell the Ayew family has over the GFA that keeps getting Jordan and Andre picked 5 years after they should have voluntarily retired from international football if they had any honour and self respect.
MISSING CHILD ALERT: HELP US FIND 6-YEAR-OLD FATI
A family in Accra is urgently appealing to the public for assistance in locating 6-year-old Fati, who has been missing since Saturday, June 21, 2026.
Fati disappeared from Nima 441, Alaska, Accra, directly in front of her family home under circumstances that have left her loved ones devastated.
According to her guardian, Aisha, Fati was with her mother, who sells eggs in front of their home, when it began to drizzle. Fati had gotten slightly wet, and her mother asked her to go inside the house to change into dry clothes. The house was only a few steps away, and she was expected to return immediately so they could go out to get something to eat.
A few minutes later, as the rain intensified, family members moved indoors and called for Fati, only to discover that she had vanished. Despite extensive searches and reports made to the police, community leaders, and other relevant authorities, there has been no trace of her.
The family now fears that Fati may have been abducted and is pleading with the public to assist in any way possible.
Anyone with information about Fati's whereabouts, no matter how insignificant it may seem, is urged to contact:
