@mtbarra@GM My husband was killed in the Iraq War in 2007. As a surviving spouse, I was shocked and disappointed that GM would not offer the military discount to me when I bought a new car last week. So sad that General Motors doesn't honor the sacrifice my husband and I made for the USA.
@NewspressUSA Unfortunately, GM does not give this discount to surviving spouses. My husband was killed in the war in 2007, and GM would not give me the $500 military discount on a new car. So sad that GM does not support Gold Star Families.
@KLZ560 But not to surviving spouses. My husband was killed in the war in 2007, and GM will not give me the military discount. So sad that they do not support Gold Star Families.
@IDme@GM General Motors does not give military discounts to surviving spouses. My husband was killed in the Iraq War in 2007, and they will not honor my current "survivor status". Lost $500 in the deal. So many companies give great discounts to Gold Star Families, and I appreciate them!
@jerrycd46 Yep, my husband was killed in the war in 2007 and GM will not give me (his surviving spouse) the military discount on a new car. They clearly don't understand what Gold Star Families represent.
@awlshs @JimFritzAW Yes, thank you. You really got through to my son. This event is making a difference and we appreciate all who helped make it happen!
