I'm not in DSA because I'm not much of an electoralist, and I'm not a close observer, but maybe the factions who aren't actively trying to do Democratic Socialism should consider doing something else, and let the DemSocs run for office? MDC gets shit done around here, let them!

@domtweeting I admit I conflate state and muni a lot being in DC, but sectors which are very data intensive:
Agriculture
Benefits and taxes
Transit
Infrastructure
Public health

A lot of these sectors are facing heavy AI pressure, with an ML background you might turn that into good
