Hi, I completely agree with you. And unfortunately, you can take my word for it, @elonmusk , I absolutely love your products and your philosophy on truth and the pursuit of knowledge about the universe.
That said, as a Premium+ subscriber, I have access to SuperGrok. Despite the four agents that are supposed to deliver precise, high-quality answers, the main goal still seems to be responding as fast as possible so you can show statistics on X proving “Grok is quick.” You’re confusing speed with haste. I sometimes get the feeling that Grok spends more time picking the right emojis than crafting a truly thoughtful response.
I have to admit this has certainly encouraged me to keep my Premium+ subscription on X, but I’ve also subscribed to Anthropic’s Max plan. Claude’s answers have exactly the intellectual quality I’m looking for, they have depth, elevation, and real editorial elegance. I much prefer an AI that takes a few minutes to give me a considered reply rather than “throwing” an answer at me in seconds, forcing me to debate endlessly just to finally get what I was after.
Even with the personalized instructions I give each agent, I still can’t reach Claude’s level of writing quality, because xAI’s built-in guardrails consistently override my formal directives.
It’s really a shame, because I love X and everything you stand for. I sincerely hope you’ll stop aiming for the top 3 fastest responses and instead strive to be in the top 3 for the most complete, complex, and intellectually elevated answers.
And please… stop using emojis in serious or cultural discussions!
