did y'all see the pattern
bts won vma - created kpop category
bts won bbma - created kpop category
bts won ama - created kpop category
bts nominated for grammys - created asian category
as joon said "For Asia, man, we paved the way" THEY LITERALLY DID.
BTS PAVED THE WAY
I don't know if y'all noticed, but while doing one more night adlibs, Namjoon changed lyrics from "ain't nothing more than a dream, baby" to "ain't nothing more than a dream, my love" 😭😭😭
Just like in “2.0,” it was j-hope who brought the word “Ddaeng” into this Rapline masterpiece, as RM revealed during a VLIVE in September 2018. In SUGA’s Suchwita interview with EL CAPITXN, he recalled that while they were in the U.S. for the Billboard Music Awards, they tried playing hwatu cards despite not really knowing the rules. What they did know was one thing, they kept shouting, “Ddaeng, Ddaeng!” 😁
For newer ARMYs, “Ddaeng” was released during FESTA 2018 on June 10, 2018, via SoundCloud. This legendary track was aimed at critics and detractors, particularly those in the Korean hip-hop scene who looked down on BTS for being rappers within the idol system. Rather than relying on profanity or direct insults, Rapline crafted a razor-sharp diss track packed with layered wordplay and brilliant lyricism. 8 years later, it remains one of the most celebrated examples of BTS’ rapline’s artistry. 🔥 Can we please have this officially released already?😭
Thankful for these fancams, we get to see more of what Hobi was up to on stage 🥰
