There's insane money to be made in striking deals with copyright owners, in niches such as music and sports.
Your job is making them a good, interesting offer. Grow a big music channel and offer to promote some of their stuff on it. You now own a valuable platform that helps them reach new listeners. Get a license and come to a good agreement.
Music is very evergreen and will outlive most YTA channels. If you do things legally and work with a good CMS you shouldn't ever have issues with monetisation.
@Fitjored@notdomyt Not true.
As long as the channel stays over the ypp thresholds it doesnt matter how inactive it is.
I think YouTube claims something else, but it's not what they actually do
I'm not doing AI avatars.
People think im insane for not jumping in on these trends.
It's not that i dont think they have huge potential. In fact, lots of things do.
The most successful people i know have a talent to spot untapped opportunities that no one else is doing.
They also have a lot of obsession/passion for certain things and extreme attention to detail.
Their minds dont operate like normal people. Not in their field of interest. Extremely sharp, focused and comprehensive, this lets them achieve things others could never dream of.
This isn't something you can match with work ethic regardless of what hustle bros might say.
AI slop has never been my thing. I'm naturally drawn to other things. Very. YouTube is full of opportunity everywhere. Second largest website on the internet.
More and more im regaining touch with things im actually interested in instead of just chasing money.
This gives me an edge that lets me achieve amazing things. I am one of the best in my field and can see things others dont.
Maybe YOU are being fomo'd into following all these YTA trends and have been suppressing your own natural instincts.
You know theres something out there that really engages your mind but you dont let yourself really explore it. Youre too busy doing what everyone else is doing.
The thing is, maybe if you let yourself truly dive deep into it, you would become so fucking competent.
That you'd unavoidably start attracting money opportunities everywhere, instead of chasing it.
Some men werent meant to make their fortune selling shitty cooking ebooks to 70 year old women. I dont care about the revenue potential.
Here's something im starting to put some work on. I acquired many similar channels a long time ago. For fun.
I just loved the channels but actually making money off them wasnt always easy. That made me push them to the side.
But now they have my undivided attention. Been spending more time with them. Closely studying other similar ones and thinking outside the box.
Now i can clearly see the vision. It's time to build an empire.
Soon.
superstitious, that's the word i've been using for years. most people have weird random beliefs based on two random experiences
and then it's also like the fitness industry, it's in some people's interest to overcomplicate it or it'd be so simple they'd have no content to sell. so they add to the noise
@unleashxxd I've thought of it too to "seed" the initial audience if it's what im thinking of. Everyone jumped straight to yt premium but it aint that lol
@glockrll They're bullshit copyright claims wrongfully claiming i use someones copyright.
You just use the dispute feature on studio and they ignore you for 30 days then the dispute expires and the claim is released. Or occasionally they actually remove the claim before the 30 days.
This ultra longform niche is so good, i know i'll get at least 10+ of these but my god are the false claims annoying.
These are trivial to remove and i'll get paid all the revenue it's making right now. Just really annoying cus every video is hit with something lol
i dont know what youre on about but the whole country is being burned down and if you have a set of eyes its not the "students, parents, teachers and school and univ admins" doing it
that was the whole point of the tweets you were replying to and not whatever you were complaining about. is this the shit you wanna see in your streets?
wake up dude it's literally this kind of mentality thats getting us here. literally its your fault
@Element_221 People in YTA think it'll protect them more and it's not true at all.
There are real use cases for CMS but it's not what most people here talk about

Music CMS's sign a contract called a SRAV. The exact conditions vary per contract. This is one of the reasons why some types of music channels need a CMS.
For example, YPP does not even technically allow music promotion
My screenshot is from this page, from the reused content section: https://t.co/wxtW18LtLu
It talks about things that aren't allowed in YPP such as low effort compilations and promoting other people's content (even with their permission).
My point is a music CMS signs a SRAV contract instead of the typical YPP contract and may in fact be explicitly allowed to promote other people's music content with licensed permission.
