@eevblog The old sinclair zx spectrum was also centre negative. I'm sure a load have been fried over the years.

@MarkRJones1970 Favourite era for me was from the first issue, when the mag was called "your spectrum", up to around 1986/87. For me the wow factor of new spectrum games had started to wane by then.

@nixcraft Ha. We used to use a MacBook like this, to build iOS apps on. The lid had to stay open else it would overheat and switch off. The vent near the screen and is blocked when closed.
