Cause either all of this is for a “locked in” luffy or it was all meaningless and luffy will just keep doing the same thing he has done. @Luffy61C4 @Aychiha Oda will somehow have to portary g5 of the past as a mad man’s high, something it never was and something that if done throws away all of the thematic build up associated with the concept. It even renders the whole concept of “awakenings” as stupid.

I genuinely haven’t thought of any group of people as less stupid than the way i do with one piece fans rn. They genuinely have zero understanding of what a story is. “Themes and such” is rocket science to this people. They are calling on oda to break his story for a gimmick.
