I dont see the fomo too hard here. All it does is give u stuff that would cost money for free. You can still buy everything separately or later, so youre not missing out on anything, you just dont get shit for free. Battle passes as a concept have more fomo than this token

I'm sorry, but I find this whole Fortnite token situation incredibly manipulative.
Let's be honest, the main reason people are searching chests right now is the possibility of finding that ridiculously rare token~ 🫠 Epic is dangling an enormous amount of FREE cosmetics in front of players, giving them a limited window to find it and encouraging them to keep playing, searching and searching.
Some will find it within a few games, others could spend hours every day for an entire month and never find it.
And with GTA 6 dropping in 17 days, I can't help but wonder whether keeping players engaged has become particularly important.

It's clever engagement strategy, perhaps, but at what point does rewarding players become exploiting their fear of missing out?
