@BeDamnedIfIKnow@ThaChiefDavis Gary Ward “lived” in Omaha but never won it all. I remember when fans start rumbling about him never being able to get it done. I’d argue that we are in the toughest era of college baseball. I’m not done with Josh yet but the arguments are entirely valid.
@PPetesStache@2OutKnocks@davidwschrammel Not an argument I was just curious if you had someone in mind. I’d guess prevailing theory is Fulmar but I’m kind of over the alumnus theory.
@PPetesStache@2OutKnocks@davidwschrammel I felt the same way you do but about Gundy for about a decade but I also didn’t think there was a candidate we could get that was better. Fast forward until it had to be done and here we are. So I get where you’re coming from. I just don’t quite feel the same.
@PPetesStache@2OutKnocks@davidwschrammel Just because there are fans that think Josh has done a job worthy of keeping doesn’t also mean they don’t wish we’d gotten to Omaha. Quit being intentionally obtuse.
@PPetesStache We took a REALLY good Alabama team to the brink in a season that looked like we might not even make the Big 12 tournament at times. Is it ideal? No but each season is unique and if Lund doesn’t lay an egg on Friday we might’ve cruised.
