Absolutely howling that the man who navigated Chinese Communist Party politics to help build one of the largest corporations in the world, was brought to his knees by Kevin Durant & Kyrie Irving.
@SeanCunningham Difference is that those NBA governors own majority stakes in their respective teams. Vivek running a clown-show while owning less than ~15%. Not sure what Sacramento did to David Stern, but mygawd did he go scorched-earth on the city.
@danorlovsky7@minakimes and @LauraRutledge had to do something to kill time while waiting for you to finish pouring the second carton of milk into your coffee.
@thekingsherald The Kings make a solid hire with Monte McNair, then immediately undercuts his authority by hiring Dumars into a bullshit advisory role. I wish McNair luck, but @Vivek remains a league laughingstock.
@CarmichaelDave It's about time local media speaks up. Fault lies entirely w/ Vivek -- the rot within stems from his unwillingness to cede control (& money) to form even a league-average front office. Milwaukee, SLC, OKC are successful small-markets, the model is out there.
@SportsF28863847@CarmichaelDave Ranadive has a minority share and is a Managing Partner per the purchase agreement he made w/ Stern. He doesn't even need to "sell" the team, he just needs to step down from the role -- which he'll never do. Fans need to stop spending $$$ if they want change.
@harvest_zhang @flySFO Uhhh, that’s exactly why LAX is doing this. They’ve started construction for a people mover that will finally connect all terminals to public transit in 2023/2024. That construction will inevitably require lane closures, hence this mess.
@KevinOConnorNBA Vlade is nothing but a human shield from fan vitriol for @Vivek. He is a small-time faux MANAGING owner and is unquestionably the root of all of this franchise’s recent failures. Please cash out and #ResignVivek!!!
