To be touched, looked at, admired, and smiled at. it’s the mental check-ins, those uncontrollable laughters, forms of affirmations, deep conversations, those naps on their bodies, sharing childhood memories, thoughts, fears, dreams, and hopes for the future.
it’s the safety you feel around them, physically, emotionally, spiritually and mentally.
When you feel like they really got you, and that’s what we crave.
Knowing something is wrong with them just by how they text you, how they talk or even their actions.
It’s an exchange of energy.
childhood trauma has almost everything to do with how people act out as adults and once we realize where it starts we can prevent it for future generations by being better parents.

I tip religiously, but I do think we need to rethink the idea of tipping ALL service providers.
I’ll never argue about tipping waitstaff.
