Claude Fable 5 will be available again globally tomorrow.

After a series of productive conversations with the US government, we're redeploying the model with a new set of classifiers to target and block more cybersecurity tasks. In the near term, some routine tasks like coding and debugging will fall back to Opus 4.8. We’ll continue to refine these classifiers over the coming weeks to reduce false positives and better distinguish genuine misuse from legitimate requests.

We’ve also begun drafting a consensus framework—with Amazon, Microsoft, Google, and other Glasswing partners—for assessing the severity of AI jailbreaks and how AI developers should respond to them. We invite other industry partners and model providers to join us in this effort.

Finally, we’re scaling up our collaboration with the US government on model testing and safeguards. This will include pre-release access to models and safeguards for evaluation, information sharing on jailbreaks and misuse, and dedicated resources for joint research.

We’ve received notice that the Department of Commerce has lifted export controls on Claude Fable 5 and Mythos 5.

We'll begin restoring access tomorrow, and will share an update soon.

「速くて安いモデルだし」と正直あまり期待してなかった。けどSonnet 5の説明を読んで見方が変わった。

数ヶ月前なら、もっと大きくて高いモデルじゃないと無理だった動きを、Sonnetクラスでやるらしい。自分で計画を立て、ブラウザやターミナルを操作して、最後まで自走する。そういう中身。

僕みたいな非エンジニアに効くのは、性能の数字よりここ。安い段のモデルが自走できると、毎日まわすルーチンの単価が変わる。まだ触ってないから断言はしない。今度、自分の下書き生成で前のモデルと差が出るか試すつもり。サブエージェントの質が期待できそう。

Cursorがスマホアプリを出した。

公式発表によると、iOSから「クラウドエージェントを起動してどこでもビルド」「PC上のエージェントをスマホからリモート操作」の2つができる。7月5日まではComposer 2.5が75%オフのキャンペーンもある。

僕はまだ試していないけど、エージェントを動かす場所=手元のPCという前提が少しずつ崩れている。

XのAPIに繋ぐのに、もうコードもセットアップも要らなくなった。

X公式がMCPサーバーをホスティングし始めた。Grok・Cursor・Claude Codeなどその他MCP対応のAIツールなら、APIキーの設定なしにそのままXに接続できる、という話。

非エンジニアの僕にとって「X API = 開発者のもの」という壁があったけど、これが本当なら話が変わる。今度実際に繋いで試してみる。

もう、コードを手で書けるかどうかで線を引く時代じゃない。1年前はGitHubの使い方すら知らなかった人が、手でコードを書けないまま、いまGitHubで1万フォロワー（@zarazhangrui）。差を作ったのは技術力じゃなく、AIで作って出し続けた量。非エンジニアの言い訳が、また1つ減ったのかもしれない。

Claude Codeを使い込むと、最初にぶつかる壁はトークン消費だと思う。

@masahirochaen さんは /loopや ultracodeが重いぶん、通常業務と開発を分けて MAXプランの200ドルを別アカウントにするのが良さそう、と書いてる。非エンジニアこそ、性能より先に、何をすると消費が増えるかを知っておきたい領域。

【Claude Codeのベストプラクティス】

最近、/loopやultracodeでトークン消費が激しいので

①通常業務：デスクトップアプリ
・資料作成、分析、議事録、動画編集

②開発業務：cmuxで複数展開

これを両方MAX$200プランで別アカウントでClaudeCodeを起動するのがベストな気がしてきました。

通常業務はその場でアウトプット確認したり、壁打ち多くしたいのでデスクトップアプリが向いてる。

開発は放置が多くなるので1画面を分割して進捗確認するのがちょうど良い。
