@brianteeman Works for WP, same themes, plugins and widgets structure since 2.8 (9 years). But no Joomla is so advanced that we have to brake everything on each update and if we loose millions of users, who cares. K2 is 9 years old and still widely used. Only changes since are "adapt" to J

@brianteeman We all have ex that are in use since min J1.5, the point here is that ex purpose/style never changed since but we were forced to restructure the code completely on each major update. Do that every time for 200+ ex and 150k+ users and you will understand what @joomlaworks meant.
