@wop_ster@aCarlin2k Sorry wop I had got my ass busted in rec when I replied to that dumbah statement you made I wasn’t tryna be like that hope you feel better
@KINGPiN_Guwop Yea shut the fuck up and play the game you’ll be fine. Niggas whine about shit so what punk ass.. you bought the game so play it you ham. If you don’t like it so be it
@KINGPiN_Guwop Weak minded jackass. If you like the game you like the game nigga.. you’re the one playing it how can some niggas on twitter change your experience?
If the first month of 2K is gonna be treated as a test run we definitely need re-spec or a refund on builds. Even if it’s just one. The VC will go right back into the game anyways, I don’t see an issue with it.
That fixes a lot
Mike, I think we’re arguing semantics at this point 😭
You’re saying there are no artificial “speedups” built in to make shooting harder, but then you explain that attempts can vary because of different animation transitions and energy levels.
From the PLAYER perspective, if the cue is fixed but one shot reaches that cue faster or slower because of the gather, animation or stamina state, that is the speed-up/slow-down experience we’re describing.
And if the answer is “watch the visual cue every shot,” then that visual-cue system needs to be rock solid. Tutes is already showing bases where Push and Release are nearly the same timing when they shouldn’t be, and cases where changing the cue setting appears to affect animation speed.
So please give us something concrete to test.
Give us two specific blend examples or a specific jumpshot/setup and show us what the intended cue should look like. Tell us what release blends/percentages, if any, produce the smoothest and most readable visual cue timing. Give us actual releases to try if possible. Anything that helps the community reproduce what you’re talking about.
And if 2K Labs’ testing isn’t accurately representing the system, explain what part of their methodology is wrong so the community can test it correctly.
At this point, stop the cycle of dev statement → Labs test → dev rebuttal → community guessing.
If adapting to these variations is the intended skill gap, cool. Show us exactly what we’re supposed to recognize and give us something we can actually practice.
The cue can be fixed. The time it takes to reach it clearly isn’t. That’s the part we need help understanding.
@wop_ster@aCarlin2k I don’t understand meta has literally been a things since 2k15? Meta has been a thing in almost every competitive game? So why is it a problem to you now? Or are you just saying the first thing that comes out your empty brain
