@aidenplease but over the years several small things have added up to such an extent that many kelf weren't surprised when we saw his subscription. i believe that it’s important for ielf to know what what kelf try to bury&ignore, especially discussions who many haven’t been privy to.
tried to write a concise&coherent thread about his subscription since april, but have this ramble instead. if you want something clarified, ask, but i'm slow to reply.
@aidenplease so hc would know.used phrases like “unni am i the only one uncomfortable”,is fan of chulgoo, has shown support to park jinseong, was guras biggest fan, and that started during those gross internet radio days.obviously all that and a follow doesn’t necessarily mean that he agrees
it's not fact but it's not wild speculation either. the fact is that it was shown that he was subscribed to that channel, at least until 6/4. i can expand more later but basically this wouldn't really be a shock.
i was giving him the benefit of doubt by saying it could be that he’s subscribed bc of the game industry videos, but the videos are all vile. it’s very likely that he does hold anti-feminist views based on what we already know &just the general situation in korea.
an ongoing thread about heechul and politics-adjacent stuff. things he has spoken about or done, including jokes and references. in no particular order and no direct translations. just observations, not really getting into the politics itself.
in a recent stream, his yt subscriptions showed, which includes a conservative channel. This is now blowing up on male-dominated sites, who have changed their opinion on him.
@Rosa_Du_Desert_ The channel itself is advocating for the rightwing PPP and have some videos about "how feminism is ruining the game industry", it's very typical.
@Rosa_Du_Desert_ Well, the male dominated sites where it started are generally rightwing so they take this a win. I've seen some tweets, both kelf and leftist twitter, but it hasn't really blown up yet.
It could be that he's just interested in her videos about the gaming industry as she is a chairman of the game rating and administration committee. But there's also political videos and the PPP party name is on the channel banner.
he seems to also have changed his stance, as he said that he didn't know it was going to be like this (some people are disappointed in the current president, seems like he is too) after mentioning his voting controversy where it was clear that he voted for the current president
