Modern Neo-Pagans will eventually imitate their forebears in that in seeking the favour of many gods, they shall encounter the True God who will illumine them.

@maksimologija@dttwzine Father Josiah Trenham when he is performing liturgy and he turns towards the laity and realises no one is recording/taking photos of him:
The Society of Saint Pius X has gone through with its defiance of Pope Leo XIV, consecrating four new bishops at Écône without a papal mandate.
Rome had warned that the move would constitute a schismatic act and trigger automatic excommunications under canon law, echoing Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre’s 1988 break with John Paul II.
The Vatican has not yet issued its formal response, leaving open whether Rome will simply confirm the excommunications or take further action against the SSPX.

Chuddox: “Your Holiness, The Filioque is false, Orthodoxy is true!”
Le Cope of Rome: “Give up, Greek! We have proven the Filioque with our Maximus and Augustine quotes.”
Chuddox: “in that case, Orthodoxy is True!!”
Le Cope of Rome: “Oy vey, how can this be???”
It seems to me that had Pope Leo XIII had the same confidence in the CofE that 18 year old Ordinariate bros have today, he would not have needed to declare their Holy Orders to be invalid.
Every time the King, or the Church of England ever does something even remotely troubling, the first person I hear about it from is some English Catholic who is REALLY enjoying his “We told you so” moment.
