Usually, when we compare ourselves to someone, we compare ourselves to a select few aspects of their life (their house, their good looks, or their professional success
BREAKING 🇳🇬⚠️: Hunters in Oka Akoko reportedly round up suspected bandits with AK-47 rifles as crowd gathers at the scene amid rising tension in Ondo state .
Whatever want to happen should happen, a tribe can’t travel far from their region and choose to live in the bush in another man’s land, they’ve had enough over the years, SW didn’t breed terror!sts so they can’t suffer the consequences, it’s time y’all returned home.
While Buhari was there, Aketi championed the creation of Àmọ̀tẹ́kùn, but was heavily repelled to be properly armed, I'm sure if he was alive today, he would've approached Bàba Tinúbú for Àmọ̀tẹ́kùn to be properly armed. The current governors are all useless.
I don't believe in one Nigeria. I care less whatsoever going on in the North. They've always been the genesis of the country's predicament. From Almanjiri, out of school children, extremism, kidnapping, boko haram, and so on.
Yoruba is my fatherland. We need to keep it safe by all means.
I think yoruba first!
We need to be careful how we profile people. A few years ago, every Fulani herder was unfairly labelled a killer because of the actions of some criminals. We must not repeat that mistake by casually branding innocent people as bandits.
Such profiling can lead to harassment, maiming, or even jungle justice. If you suspect anyone of criminal activity, report them to law enforcement and allow the authorities to do their job. Don't take the law into your own hands.
GOV AIYEDATIWA COMMENDS JUDICIARY, SECURITY AGENCIES ON DEATH SENTENCE OF OWO TERROR ATTACK SUSPECTS
Ondo State Governor, His Excellency, Hon Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has commended the Judiciary and security agencies for securing the conviction and death sentence of the four suspects responsible for the June 5, 2022 terror attack on St. Francis Catholic Church, Owo.
The Governor described the court verdict as a victory for justice, the rule of law, and for all victims of the heinous attack that claimed the lives of innocent worshippers and left many others injured.
He noted that the diligence of the prosecution team, the thoroughness of investigators, and the courage of the judiciary have shown that government will not tolerate acts of terror or violence against its people. This judgment sends a clear message that those who take innocent lives will face the full weight of the law, no matter how long it takes.
Governor Aiyedatiwa also appreciated the resilience of the people of Owo and the Catholic community who, despite the trauma, have remained steadfast and committed to peace. He reassured all residents that his administration will continue to work closely with security agencies to strengthen intelligence gathering, protect public spaces, and ensure such a tragedy never repeats itself in our state.
While nothing can bring back the lives lost, the Governor said this judgment provides a measure of closure and hope that justice is possible. He prayed for the repose of the souls of the departed and for God’s comfort for the families they left behind.

ONDO STATE GOVERNMENT DISPELS RUMOUR OF KIDNAPPING IN AKURE
The Ondo State Government has become aware of false reports circulating on social media and messaging platforms alleging an incident of kidnapping in a school within Akure metropolis.
The Government categorically states that there is no record, report, or incident of kidnapping in any primary, secondary, or tertiary institution in Akure. All schools in the state capital are safe, open, and conducting academic activities without disruption.
Security agencies, including the Police, Amotekun Corps, and DSS, have verified all school environments in Akure and confirmed normalcy. The Government, in collaboration with school authorities and parents, has maintained strict security protocols across all schools to ensure the safety of pupils and students at all times.
We urge members of the public, especially parents and guardians, to disregard the fake news and refrain from sharing unverified information that is capable of causing panic and anxiety.
The safety of our children and teachers remains a top priority for the Aiyedatiwa administration. We encourage anyone with genuine security concerns to report directly to the nearest police or Amotekun station/post.

I have stopped using my platform to debunk fake news against President Tinubu's administration; I can't love his government more than he does. He was a victim of the ENDSARS propaganda which almost cost him victory in the 2023 election yet his administration has been rather reactive to fake news than proactive.
If there are no dire consequences for fake news mongering, then they (PBAT & APC) are indirectly mocking their supporters who are forced to debunk those news every time.
Maybe the president will decisively deal with the career fake news purveyors when they cause civil unrests that can overthrow his government. For now, he can keep acting aloof, it's his government and he alone will bear the blame for whatever goes wrong.
Banks turned $1,000 into $600,000 in just one year.
Let me explain what actually happened and how you can position yourself to do the same thing.
First, you need to understand what an ICO is.
ICO stands for Initial Coin Offering. Think of it like a company selling shares before it goes public on the stock market, except instead of shares, they are selling tokens.
When a crypto project wants to raise money to build their product, they sell their token early at a low price. The people who buy in early get in cheap and if the project does well and the token goes up in value, those early investors make a lot of money. That is the basic idea.
The problem for years was that only VCs and wealthy insiders got access to these early deals. By the time regular people heard about a project, the price had already gone up and the insiders were already in profit. Platforms like Echo and Legion exist to fix that.
Now let me show you what is possible when you get access.
LAB Terminal that returned over 600x for @Mrbankstips was on Legion. Another one called Sonar's XPL token sale hit a 33.78x return at its all-time high.
To put that in simple terms, someone who put in $1,000 on the ICO walked away with over $600,000. That is what early access looks like in practice.
Here are some of the platforms where you can get early access to rounds
1) @echodotxyz
Echo works like a group investment club. A lead investor who has done their research says I found a good deal and opens a pool. You follow them, put in your money alongside theirs, and everyone gets into the deal at the same early price.
2) @legiondotcc
Legion works differently. Instead of following someone into a deal, you build your own reputation on the platform and that reputation determines how much access you get.
The platform looks at how active you are in the crypto space, your on-chain history, your participation in the ecosystem, and gives you a score. The better your score, the better your allocation.
Both platforms are doing the same thing. Giving regular people access to deals that used to belong only to insiders.
How to spot good projects on these platforms:
• Look at who is leading the investment. If credible and experienced people are putting their money in, that means something
• Research the team. Have they built anything before? Do they have real experience?
• Check the valuation at launch. If the fully diluted value is very high compared to what is actually circulating, be careful
• See who else is investing alongside you. Serious names in a round change the risk profile
• Check how long the team's tokens are locked up. If they can sell immediately after launch, that is a red flag
• Look for proof that people are already using the product before the token exists
• Do not rely on one source of information. Always dig deeper
The opportunity is real. But getting access without knowing what you are doing is just an expensive way to learn a lesson.
Learn first. Then move.
As you were. ❤️🦅
In the South West of Nigeria, 99.9% arrested for kidnapping, armed robbery, prostitution rings, fake products and drug-related offenses are from South East.
By contrast, there are virtually no recorded cases of South Westerners traveling to the South East to engage in similar criminal activities on a comparable scale.
Many South Easterners have migrated to the South West seeking safety and economic opportunities, fleeing the insecurity caused by groups like IPOB, the Eastern Security Network (ESN), and so-called “unknown gunmen” in their home region.
Yet, troublingly, these migrants have been implicated in turning against their host communities through kidnapping, violence, and other crimes.
This pattern of betrayal, accepting refuge while undermining the peace of those who provided it raises serious concerns.
Don’t lose guard!
Let us restructure Nigeria into 6 regions with states and LGs within the regions, according to the capacity of each region.
The Prime Minister, or whatever nomenclature we choose, for each region should also serve as Vice President to the President — 1 president and 6 VPs. Let the Federal Government only handle the economy, foreign relations, and defense against external threats.
Let’s have:
Fashola as PM for SW/Yoruba Region,
Obi as PM for SE/Igbo Region,
Wike or Donald Duke as PM for SS/ND Region,
Saraki or Akwume or David Mark as PM for North Central/Middle Belt Region,
El Rufai or Kwankwaso as PM for NW/Arewa Region,
Shettima or Zulum as PM for NE.
We would see where all regions and Nigeria will be in 7 years.
Dear immature Peter @PeterPsquare,
“Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise…” — Proverbs 17:28.
Sadly, some people hear that scripture and still decide to audition for public embarrassment.
“I made it in your so called Lagos” is not the powerful statement you think it is. It is actually a confession that opportunities had to be sought elsewhere because your own region is cures and could not provide the environment for your dreams and destinies to thrive. That is not an insult to the man you quoted; it is a challenge to your leaders and your priorities.
But instead of asking hard questions about development, infrastructure, investment, and security in your homeland, you people turn migration into a trophy and expect applause for it. Every serious society wants its sons and daughters to build back home too, not abandon it completely while emotionally blackmailing the places giving them opportunities.
And please, spare us the emotional gymnastics. Successful Yoruba celebrities proudly live, invest, and raise families in their ancestral land because Lagos is home to them culturally and historically. That is normal. Have your children stayed in Anambra for six months, the state you come from?. The real conversation should be: why do many wealthy businessmen from your side concentrate investments elsewhere while treating home mainly as a Christmas destination?
That is not hatred. That is a developmental question.
You cannot keepp behaving immature anytime uncomfortable truths are mentioned. If your brightest minds, biggest investors, and biggest celebrities overwhelmingly build outside their homeland, people are allowed to ask why.
And Peter, saying “I made it in your so called Lagos” is not an achievement badge against Yorubas. It is an insult to your tribe and land. Lagos has made people from every tribe successful because it is economically functional and accommodating. The better response should be gratitude and reflection, not chest-thumping and insults.
At the end of the day, a people’s greatest pride should not be how well they escaped home, but how well they transformed it.
The desperation for power isn't new. Look back at how BAT reacted to the tragic killing of the Afenifere leader's daughter by herdsmen during the Buhari era, he actively deflected blame to protect political alliances. History shows he will sacrifice accountability for ambition.
I’m forced to not make any comments regarding this anymore until the kids and others are back to safety, I think continuing doing the back and forth when we have a 2yrs old in kidnapper’s den is inhumane and I’m sorry for the whole back and forth.
We hope for good news asap.
We will overcome.
