Today’s retaliatory tariffs announced by the 🇨🇦 federal gov’t in response to @WhiteHouse tariffs on Canadian goods include a 50% tariff on golf clubs starting September 8.

Tariff doesn’t discriminate.

Metal woods, hybrids, irons, wedges & putters all affected.

It’s where the finished clubs are shipped from when they cross the border. Major manufacturers assemble in the U.S., then ship to customers, retailers or their 🇨🇦 HQ locations. Some could send components to 🇨🇦 for assembly here.

Oh piss off. As they admit in the first sentence Good Good's concern is primarily the reputational damage. And so it continues until the end in which they ponder which charity would provide the best publlicity. Shameless. And unashamed. PGA Tour should ditch Good Good for good
