Kudos to the protesting students for standing their ground against the force.
I hope @LuckyAiyedatiwa yield to the students’ demands and end the #Strike without further delay so that they can return to their classes
We will remain on the streets until the needful is done. ✊️✊️
Our lives matter. Stop wasting our time and destroying our future. Don’t let 4 years turn into 6 years. We deserve to graduate on time and move forward with our lives.
@LuckyAiyedatiwa@PoliceNG
You put thousand of lives on hold. All for what? Kindly mediate and stop playing with our future.
I can't even apply for scholarships anymore. @LuckyAiyedatiwa@iambabtee@Wizarab10#AAUA
🚨 BREAKING: TENSION AT AAUA
Military personnel reportedly confront students protesting the ongoing strike at AAUA, Akungba-Akoko.
Students are calling for calm as tension remains high.
#AAUA#AAUAProtest
This is a serious breach of the fundamental human rights provided in section 39 and section 40 of the 1999 constitution. Why are these men shooting while the students are demonstrating their grievances? What is going on @LuckyAiyedatiwa@officialABAT@HQNigerianArmy?
The idea of making the education strike free a determinant for good governance starts like this, and we end up falling for it, cos why not? They've made what should be our right a privilege. Enough is enough! We will not be for our rights. Take us back to classes.
This school dey kpami oo. What kind of memo is this?
We’ve been on strike for over a month now oo.
And my school is telling us again to vacate for another 2 weeks.
Please we can’t continue like this oo. @instablog9ja@yabaleftonline#EnoughisEnough#EndAAUASTRIKENOW
The report that officers of the Nigerian Army disrupted the peaceful protest by students of #AAUA@OfficialAAUASU earlier today against the continued failure of Gov @LuckyAiyedatiwa to end the prolonged #ASUUStrike in the University is very condemnable.
For a University currently under #ASUU #SSANU #NASU #NAAT combined industrial action.
The best response to the peaceful protest should rather be that @OndoStateOnline #EndStrikeNow
