@bzamayo@marcoarment After more experimenting, I think I was wrong about my phone differentiating short firm press from short light press. I was probably just over the threshold (~150ms?) for long press.
@BradPrick@bzamayo@marcoarment It seems like they didn’t review that interaction after implementing it. I guess they’re on a tight budget and can’t afford the UI/UX designers or engineers 😉
@BradPrick@bzamayo@marcoarment You’e right. I think the best “fix” for this would be, if the user is still holding down after the context menu appears for like 250ms, go directly from the context menu to the shaking icons. It’s like it changes from “context menu state” to “no action state” to “shaking state”.
@OtterAfterDawn @NeillBlomkamp@robbies_world@ID_AA_Carmack I know nothing about transistors, so forgive me if this is a dumb question. Is it possible to circumvent transistors and just use light pulses?
@jeffbercovici@micsolana@cyantist Is it possible they see the industry as a smart one to invest in because the demand is expected to grow and there is nothing beyond that? If so, what is the likelihood of that possibility?
