The Board is made up of 9 directors: 4 appointed by the NSTU, 4 by Nova Scotia’s Minister of Finance and Treasury Board, and an independent Chair mutually appointed by both. Part-Time Teachers: Did you know the TPP offers a Flexible Pension Option? This option allows part-time members to contribute based on their previous year’s work percentage and accrue the same amount of pensionable service. Update: The 2025 TPP Annual Report will be published later than usual this year, with release anticipated in late June or early July. This timing aligns with year-end financial reporting processes.
The report will provide an overview of the Plan’s investment performance, financial position, and membership as at December 31, 2025.
An announcement will be shared once the report is available.
