DON’T JOKE WITH THIS DU’A:
Ya Allah, after you give me for what I prayed for, please discipline and protect me to keep it and give me wisdom to multiply it.
There are 3 reasons why people shower before bed and again in the morning, and I will try and cover them.
Read it, you can learn one or two.
First, bed hygiene.
Most people don’t think about this, but your bed is where you spend 7-9 hours every night.
When you go to bed dirty, you transfer the day’s sweat, dirt, bacteria, and pollutants to your sheets.
Then you sleep in that for hours.
Your skin absorbs it. Your pores clog. Acne, irritation, breakouts follow.
Dust mites thrive in dirty beds (they feed on dead skin cells and sweat).
When you shower before bed, you go to bed clean. Your sheets stay clean longer. Your skin breathes better and you actually sleep better.
Second, your body doesn’t stop while you sleep.
The average person sweats 200ml per night. That’s about a glass of water.
Your skin sheds dead cells. Your body produces oils. All while you’re unconscious for 7-9 hours.
You wake up with sweat, oils, and dead skin on your body.
Morning shower removes all of that.
You start the day fresh, not carrying the night’s residue into your day.
Third, the mental reset.
Night shower signals to your brain that the day is done. It relaxes your muscles. Lowers your body temperature and prepares you for sleep.
Morning shower wakes you up.
Raises your body temperature.
Increases alertness.
Sets the tone for a productive day.
It’s both hygiene and a psychological routine.
So, having two showers isn’t excessive.
