कांग्रेस ने ऐलान किया कि 1 नवम्बर की राम लीला मैदान में धरना प्रदर्शन किया जाए। भाजपा ने हमला लिया कि क्या राहुल गांधी 1 नवम्बर 1984 को सिख विरोधी दंगों को दोहराना चाहते हैं क्या ? भाजपा हमलावर हुई तो इंडी गठबंधन की बाकी पार्टियां बैकफुट पर आ गईं। सूत्रों के अनुसार गठबंधन के बाकी दलों ने एक नवंबर की जगह किसी और तारीख पर रामलीला मैदान में धरना प्रदर्शन करने की सलाह दी। इसके लिए कल गठबंधन के दलों की वर्चुयल बैठक बुलाने के लिए कहा गया। पर राहुल गाँधी अपनी जिद में अड़ गए कि 1 नवंबर को ही करना है। गठबंधन की बैठक रद्द करनी पड़ी। आखिर राहुल गांधी 1 नवम्बर पर ही अड़ कर क्या संदेश देना चाहते हैं ?
