@OfficialDMRC, it has been months since the circular route was started on Pink line. However, Passenger Information Systems still do not show remaining time in arrival of a train on a platform. Why?
Hey @ICICIBank, why I am being spammed for lifetime free credit card based on my good profile?

The Broken Window
In 1994, New York City was in decline. Crime and lawlessness. Mayor Rudy Giuliani and Police Chief Willian Bratton applied the Broken Window theory in Criminology. They went after minor crimes like public drinking, vandalism, fixing broken street lamps. By arresting minor breakage of law and order, rates of major crime came down.
Our behaviour changes as per the environment. When we find ourselves in a quiet library, we talk in whispers. In a noisy street, our voice decibels rise. You will see that the same people who litter our railway stations walk through our metro lines without leaving a trace behind. If the environment has dirt all around, without realising, we contribute more towards it, and if the environment is clean, we keep it that way.
The quality of an office, a home, or any public place is reflected in the quality of its bathrooms.
This theory has applications everywhere.
In a company, decline is not caused by one dramatic event. It is always slow. A broken operational process, quality slips, customer complaints ignored over time, delayed payment to vendors, etc. signals to everyone that no one is in charge here. Slowly, the rot spreads, and the company sinks into a terminal decline.
That is true in our home as well. Unmade bed, clothes lying outside, snack boxes lying around, unopened bills and papers piling up, shoes strewn around, unwashed vessels in the sink. Cockroaches, termites, rats, fruit flies, silverfish, lizards all get attracted to such disorder and chaos. It’s not just about the physical damage, it reflects our minds. Those living in physical clutter also live in mental clutter.
It applies as much to us personally as humans. Being disorganised is super expensive, being lazy and indisciplined costs even more, exercise not done regularly, irregular sleep cycles, excessive consumption of addictive substances, bills not paid on time - these broken windows keep adding up until the costs become prohibitive and cause deep damage.
The broken windows theory states that visible signs of disorder and misbehaviour in an environment encourage further disorder and misbehaviour, leading to further deterioration.
Broken window is a metaphor for acceptance of seemingly small things, fixing of which may not need a sense of urgency.
Being organised and disciplined, and having excellent time management and a sense of urgency in addressing small leaks in dripping faucets are superpowers!
Do you know what bothers us most? Clutter in our head. Unfinished business. All the things we know we need to do but have left undone or half done or postponed and when multiple tabs open in our head of to-do items, our brain feels stressed and overwhelmed.
All of us have some broken windows the fixing of which we have postponed or put off for later in terms of priority. We need to identify and fix them right away and live and work in a decluttered work place, home and, most importantly a decluttered mind.

During her PhD at the National Institute of Immunology in New Delhi, Parul Ganju began meeting people living with vitiligo.
The condition destroys the skin's pigment-producing cells, spreading white patches across the body, and in India, where skin tone carries outsized social weight, its effects extend far beyond the physical. "The effect of this disease was humongous," she would later say, "and they were waiting for something to work."
When her PhD ended, she had two offers: a prestigious government scholarship for young researchers and a post-doctoral position in the United States. She turned both down. Publishing in high-impact journals, she had decided, would not cure a single patient. In 2016, she co-founded Ahammune Biosciences in Pune with her PhD collaborator Dr. Krishnamurthy Natarajan, a professor at JNU, with one objective: build a drug that could actually work.
The problem with existing vitiligo treatments is not just that they fail. Steroids, the current standard of care, suppress the entire immune system to slow the disease, cannot reverse it, and cause long-term organ damage from broad immunosuppression. AB1001, Ahammune's lead drug candidate, takes a fundamentally different approach: it blocks the specific cellular signaling pathway that triggers melanocyte destruction, stopping the disease at its origin without compromising systemic immunity. Parul calls it "cutting fuel to the fire."
AB1001 has completed Phase 1 clinical trials and is now in Phase 2. Ahammune holds seven granted patents in India, the United States, Europe, Israel, and Australia from 20 filed applications. The company has raised $8 million from investors including pi Ventures, Ideaspring Capital, and Kotak Alternate Assets.
Vitiligo affects 1 to 2% of the global population. India's prevalence runs higher than the global average, and at the country's scale, that means tens of millions of people managing a condition for which medicine has never found a permanent answer.
Parul Ganju turned down a US post-doc to build one.
@ILuvMarkets Hello sir, came across this few days back. It is a lovely piece of work. One problem: I go to NSE top gainers & hover over a symbol it opens TV window but when I press alt+tab & hover over another symbol that doesn't update. Hv to close TV window & then hover over symbol again.
GREAT NEWS AND FINAL UPDATE!
TradingView has brought back the 1000-symbol watchlists for all paid accounts.
We're glad they listened to the community and made the right call on this one.
A big thank you to the team at @tradingview for being responsive and taking the feedback seriously. ❤️
A few days ago, I made a high-value payment on a website through @Razorpay. During the transaction, the payment gateway initiated two payment attempts simultaneously (16-sec difference). One succeeded while the other failed. This appears to have caused a technical glitch on the merchant's website, resulting in the payment being registered as failed despite the money being successfully deducted from my account. Consequently, the purchased service was never delivered.
I immediately raised a support ticket with the merchant, but received only automated responses that were completely unrelated to the issue. Despite several follow-ups over the last 48 hours, I have received no meaningful response or resolution.
I then decided to raise a dispute with Razorpay, both because the payment issue originated from their payment flow and because the merchant was not responding. However, after filling in all the details, every attempt to submit the complaint results in the error: "Please check your internet and try again."
I have tried multiple times using different internet connections and devices, but the same issue persists.
I also searched for alternative ways to contact @RazorpayCare, including email support. However, their website directs users only to the complaint portal, which itself appears to be non-functional.
For a business that handles financial transactions, having only one support channel, and that too not working, is extremely concerning.
I hope @RazorpayCare will look into this matter, help register the dispute, assist in obtaining either a refund or resolution at the earliest, and fix the issue that is preventing customers from submitting complaints through the portal.
There are businesses like @myspinny which says "they won't spam you" but received more than 2 calls unnecessarily even after denying. Even on WhatsApp blocked two business accounts of them.
No doubt, these businesses are not trustworthy to begin with. No ethics, nothing.
UPDATE AND FOLLOW-UP:
I sincerely thank @tradingview for revising the limits to something more workable for traders who can only afford the entry-level plans.
However, there is still a strong need for TradingView to restore the Premium plan limit to 1000 symbols. This is the highest tier plan that a common retail trader can realistically afford, and they should not be restricted simply for maintaining a larger watchlist while already paying for the best available option in their category.
As I mentioned in my earlier note, this limitation directly affects the usability of the scanner, especially powerful features like scanning on watchlists and watchlist-based alerts.
I have always been a strong admirer of your platform, along with your highly responsive and customer-friendly support. I genuinely believe you will address this as well and not limit your users over something as basic as the number of symbols they can add to a watchlist.
I request everyone to please support this cause. Our unity is our strength, and it will show how many traders are genuinely affected by this change.
AN OPEN LETTER TO TRADINGVIEW FROM AN ADMIRER
I’ve always been a big admirer of the team at @tradingview for what they’ve built and how they’ve transformed the charting experience for traders. I’ve also been quite vocal about the importance of investing in essential tools rather than hesitating over such costs.
However, the recently introduced symbol limits per watchlist, even on paid plans, feel like a step backward. I understand the intent to increase ARPU and push upgrades, but reducing the Premium plan limit from 1000 to 500 symbols is quite restrictive, especially considering it’s already at the upper end of what retail traders in India can afford.
This change feels unjustified and, ideally, the earlier limits should be restored. If that’s not feasible, then at least increasing the caps would be a fair middle ground, bringing Premium back to 1000 symbols, and raising Essential and Plus tiers to 250 and 500 respectively.
Now, one might argue why anyone would need such a large number of symbols in a watchlist and how it actually helps.
What most traders, and even the team at TradingView, may not fully understand about India is the concept of circuit filters enforced by our regulators. This is quite unique to Indian markets. Since international platforms don’t provide a way to exclude stocks based on these filters directly in scanners, we are forced to first eliminate such stocks using local tools.
To avoid illiquid names, especially those stuck in 2% or 5% circuit filters, we have to create a refined “Total Universe” watchlist first. Only then can we effectively run scans on TradingView. If we skip this step and rely purely on inbuilt scanners, results often get cluttered with circuit-bound stocks, which are practically untradeable and hard to filter out afterward.
Currently, National Stock Exchange of India has around 2300 listed stocks. Even after filtering out illiquid names and those under strict circuit limits, we are still left with roughly 900 to 1100 stocks depending on market conditions. This already exceeds even the earlier limits. I had earlier requested increasing these limits, but the recent change has gone in the opposite direction, making it almost impractical to use TradingView’s watchlist-based scanning effectively in Indian markets.
I’ve used multiple platforms over the years, free and paid, desktop and web, and haven’t encountered such restrictive limitations elsewhere. This kind of constraint could actually give competing platforms an opportunity to challenge TradingView, at least in the Indian market.
On behalf of retail traders and the fintwit community, I would strongly request the TradingView team to restore the earlier limits. If changes are unavoidable, then at least consider increasing the limits as suggested earlier.
I’d also urge the fintwit community to support and amplify this, so the importance of this issue is clearly communicated.
