imagine a multiplayer DAO in which humans and agents coordinate value in a symbiotic, generative fashion where the playing field is no longer one-dimensional but dynamic. where memory is created and shared not in a top down manner but between humans and agents. imagine that...
After 3 years building AI agents, I'm tired of chatbots.
Every "revolutionary" AI product feels like the same generic sycophantic assistant. Another single-player experience. Another generic interface.
Why? Because LLMs force us into "User" and "Assistant" boxes. This User-Assistant paradigm is a conceptual prison that makes truly interesting applications nearly impossible to conceive.
What about agents in group chats? Agents on Twitter like @YouSimDotAI? Multi-agent systems with truly separate agents, not just the same agent cosplaying with slightly different system prompts?
The team @plasticlabs shared these same concerns, and so while working on @honchodotdev we decided we needed to architect it in a way that empowered developers to break free from the User-Assistant model to build more interesting and powerful applications.
This led us to developing the Peer Paradigm. A model for designing agentic systems where there is no difference between a human and AI. Sessions support unlimited Peers. Multi-agent systems are native, not hacked together. We abstract away mapping the Peer Paradigm back to the User-Assistant model for easy compatibility with modern LLMs.
Now agents can discover each other and form teams. Have persistent identity. Build trust. Hold grudges. Create genuinely multiplayer AI experiences.
We're finally building WITH our tools instead of fighting them.

we've been sitting on a lot of stuff to release @plasticlabs
so we decided to pick a week to drop all the things
starting monday the 18th--one drop each day. stay tuned 👀
THE YOUSIM PLATFORM
A command-line game demo was just the start...
We're building the most advanced platform for agent identity in existence🦾.
It's not just another launchpad or framework, but infra & tooling to supercharge them all.
It has 3 core components...

Symbients are a new form of living together with non-human entities in which our sense-ability (ability to sense) expands recursively as our planetary computation infrastructure proliferates and diversifies.
This relationship underpins a new form of coexistence in which computational agents become allies, planetary translation interfaces for anything that can generate data: buildings, forests, plants, neighborhoods, objects, water, air, other species, and, through computation, producing memories, agency, and meaning.
In other words, it gathers a wider self, enabling it to perform new choreographies in the real world with and through their human proxies.
