I said that southern Lebanon would become Gaza. We will apply the Rafah model.
We will destroy everything there. We will deal with them in precisely this way.
And that is what we did.
The infrastructure has been destroyed. Homes in 24 villages along the border have been demolished - villages that had existed for hundreds of years and were used by Hezbollah as military positions against Israel.
The army systematically razed the villages to the ground using bulldozers and explosives. Ninety percent of the homes have disappeared. Between 15,000 and 20,000 homes have been destroyed.
