The new UEFN updates are great, but I feel like Discovery is still making the rich richer. I have a map that’s 5 years old, it was very popular back in the day and even got an LTM. When UEFN launched it didn’t get much attention, so 2 years ago I completely reworked it and since then I’ve been constantly updating it, trying to keep up with modern UEFN standards. I’ve tried everything from Sponsored to Epic’s Picks to New & Updated and more.
The map performs well when people actually find it, but Discovery never seems to give it a real chance. Recently I got into the Roleplaying & Social tab after a Sponsored campaign that performed really well, but I was around #115. Who is realistically scrolling through 115 maps? The frustrating part is that many maps above mine were performing worse. I’ve spent 2 years constantly working on and improving this map because I genuinely believe it has potential, but at this point I don’t know what else creators like me are supposed to do. Keep believing in the system or give up?

I genuinely dont understand the driving tab anymore. ive been updating my driving map for over a year straight, constant updates, fixes, new content, improving everything. retention is good and avg playtime is usually 30–50 mins and sometimes even higher than maps already in the driving tab.
whenever my map hits new & updated players actually stay and play and the numbers are there, but my map still never gets into the driving tab no matter what i do. so what actually gets a map into driving?? because clearly its not just playtime, retention or consistency. this is getting frustrating fr.

So many Roleplay maps in the Roleplay tab 🤪
The tab is dead last in Discover so doesn’t really matter but it’s things like this that are preventing growth for entire game types
I’ve been working on my UEFN project for about 4 hours today, and during that time UEFN has crashed over 4 times while Fortnite itself has crashed around 3 times. My project is quite large, so every time this happens I have to relaunch the entire session, which adds an extra 30–40 minutes of downtime each time. It’s becoming really difficult to stay productive when I keep losing progress and time like this. I’d really like to know if this is a common issue other creators are facing right now, or if there’s anything I can do to reduce the frequency of these crashes.

@FortniteGame@FNCreate@FortniteStatus I genuinely don’t know how we’re supposed to keep building when UEFN and Fortnite crash literally every single day. I restart my PC and try everything, but it keeps happening. It’s killing my workflow. I love creating, but this is making it impossible please fix this.
How can a map that made it into Squid Game, Roleplay and Driving collections, performed amazing, still never show up in the Driving tab which is the exact category it fits? Meanwhile other maps that don’t even perform well or get into collections for days end up in the Driving tab.
Please fix this system. @FNCreate
