@MaticianRobots Very very cool but the economics? 2x better than iRobot @ 5-7x lifetime cost. Insufficient to dismiss/discount housecleaners if you can afford them; too expensive if you can't. Feels like a Tesla Roadster luxe/niche entry but late to the party. Fingers crossed for you guys...

@cohomonoid @mattyglesias I agree but sometimes think sloppy change is better than no change...as long as there's some agility to adapt. Separately, I'm not sure the growth of lecturers/adjuncts is bad. If the output is research/reputation, I guess so. If it's student outcomes, maybe not.

@MatthewBoedy @mattyglesias Peer review seldom works on career issues. It often becomes flaccid protectionism where the interests of the ultimate consumer are too distant to be influential. Doesn't work for cops or corporate comp committees. Unsure how gym teachers and linguistics profs are exceptional.
