@dippatel1994@claudeai Do you only see this in the VSCode terminal? There are multiple GitHub issues still open about it, like https://t.co/cWchi10URu. One proposed workaround is to downgrade to version 2.1.140, another is to set "terminal.integrated.gpuAcceleration": "off"
@grumi78 Have you ever seen the code for Bourne shell, the ancestor of Bash? First released in 1979, Stephen Bourne wanted the C code to look like ALGOL68, so he defined some macros (see mac.h): https://t.co/E5rkVDFva5
@MatthewBerman You mentioned QwQ, have you used it? I’ve seen it give completely *bonkers* answers as it keeps re-checking its output and doubting itself over and over again. It’s fascinating to see. Attached: how many days are between two dates (~1,300 words out). Full: https://t.co/pYGzQIuSJp
@moritzkremb Great comparison! Re: quality, have you noticed that Composer will sometimes write code, then re-read what it wrote, and (unprompted!) identify+fix mistakes or make more suggestions? e.g. "ah! we should add a field to this class", etc. Might be why you saw it produce better code?
@IngemarLilja @OSINTNic Coords are 51.774748, 37.428448. Try Yandex for more recent satellite images than what Google Maps offers in this region: https://t.co/kOPpUb9TLl
YET EVERY EXAMINED DEMOGRAPHIC -> "Researchers at Meta noted in October 2020 that '[w]ithin every examined demographic group, seeing posts with more extreme Like counts (1M+) was associated with feeling worse: more negative social comparison . . . ." /9
@SrgntBallistic@Voron_Design@LDOmotors Thank you! It's good to have actual numbers and not just estimates from the companies selling kits. I looked but hadn't seen these streams on your channel, I realize now they're under "Live" and not the "Videos" tab. Documenting the whole process is great! Very helpful.
📢 Just published a blog post discussing the ramifications of running a replicated system without fsync. Contrary to popular belief, the loss of data on a single node can actually result in the loss of replicated data on all nodes. 🔄

Yes! My copy of @BlueFoxBook has arrived weeks early. Almost all the work I’ve done with RE has been on x86, but very few devices around me still use it. Looks like it’s time for me to get more serious about doing the same on ARM :-)
@K0mpressor@elonmusk If anyone cares, this is false of course. The bitcoin paper was released on October 31, 2009. Elon's twitter account was created on June 2, 2009. Same year though… COINCIDENCE???
THREAD: The US government's new export controls are wreaking havoc on China's chip industry.
New rules around "US persons" are driving an "industry-wide decapitation."
@604brian@Scott_Wiener This is why it's so important for people to carry Narcan if they live in areas where they might encounter people in this situation. I got trained and was given a kit after I passed someone being given CPR in the street a few years ago. Please get it if you don't have it already.
@x2plusy2@geerlingguy Looks great! Are you sending the measurements somewhere? I've been using Google Cloud for a similar project: a function receives the JSON blob and inserts it into Big Query, and a DataStudio dashboard lets me graph values over time. Cloud cost is ~$0.
