@tylerblack32@datadriven_tdoc@genspect Johana Olson-Kennedy: "We often ask parents, Would you rather have a dead son than a live daughter? … These kids have a suicide rate that is astronomical compared to any other group," she said.
@JonathanShedler Depends entirely on the relationship the patient has with the parent, how much the therapist knows about it, and the relationship between the patient and therapist.
@BryanSchrempf@benryanwriter Some trans ppl claim they don’t have gender dysphoria. Also some say “gender dysphoria” is pathologizing bc it’s in the DSM. None of it makes sense. It’s more accurate to say that trans people are people who identify as trans.
@GarySpedding@CarlaVa11762743 It's not a display of support for trans people. It's a glorification of the removal of healthy breasts as a vehicle to make money.
@TomDWooldridge Aren't these all examples of the kinds of capacities that are created and developed through ordinary analytic work, rather than needing to pre-exist?
@ProfDBernstein@Molly85224872@PiersUncensored@piersmorgan@academic_la The Civil Commission report was written by a woman who Israeli government officials say is unreliable and who has made demonstrably false claims. The report has not been made public. No media sources reporting on the report have verified its sources.

@LeorSapir I guess it’s your word against everyone providing first-hand testimony, just to advance a false narrative against Israel. Here’s an article from 2015 by an Israeli researcher in case you’re interested:

@LeorSapir As I mentioned, testimony of canine rape of Palestinians prisoners is not new. It’s been documented by multiple human rights orgs for many years. It is in fact groundbreaking that the NYT has finally allowed this to be reported in its own pages.
@LeorSapir Why do you not doubt Paul’s opinion pieces but you do doubt an opinion piece by a Pulitzer Prize winning journalist based on first-hand testimony of many sources and backed up for years by human rights orgs, including Be’tselem?
