Class 6 have designed their own board games based on their favourite topic from Y2. They have done a super job and are now enjoying playing them. They will bring it home so you can enjoy playing it too!

Oh no London is burning! Class 6 have loved learning all about the Fire of London in history and in DT they have worked in pairs to create such fantastic Tudor style houses. Well done. I am so proud 👏🏻
Yesterday Class 6 had a wonderful morning gardening with all our grown ups. They did some hard work and made the butterfly garden look beautiful! Thank you so much Mrs Pearson we have loved our gardening sessions. ❤️
Today in Class 6 we thought about all the ways we can help look after our planet. We discussed some ideas and then wrote a newspaper article. #MelthamECO
Having used oil pastels last week to draw peacock feathers, today Class 5 have used soft pastels to create a range of effects. We are going to use the skills we have learnt to produce pictures in the style of Monet next week.
In Class 5, we have embarked on our ‘Plants’ topic by exploring the differences between seeds and bulbs. We have also planted our own dwarf sunflowers.
Class 5 finished their RE topic on Creation with a colour hunt walk around our school grounds to look for the colours of nature. They wrote about the things in the natural world that they are thankful for. Some suggestions were, red pandas, seals and killer whales! #MelthamRE
Class 5 are enjoying exploring poetry this week. We have examined some Spring flowers and we are going to use the adjectives we have gathered to write our own poems.
