I’m kinda confused where the idea that the current Love and Deepspace creative development team is now comprised of mostly men came from??
I know that is not true, so this is a very strange idea to see being thrown around so casually as fact rather than heresy 🤔
I have met male staff but they were not in creative departments. Not to say there aren’t male staff in the dev team, but if you watch their presentations and read press interviews with the dev team made this year, such as IGN’s article at GDC in April 2026, it clearly states it is a female led development team.
Here is the article written by my friend Daniel who interviewed the female Producer of Love and Deepspace, Lizi Cheng. It’s a great read for those who want to learn more about their creative process.
Now, does this invalidate people’s unsatisfactory experience with the game? Of course not. Could there be improvements to the game? Absolutely, tons to address, hopefully sooner than later.
But saying that the writing team is suddenly not a majority of women while it always has been greatly undermines their work, at least in my opinion 🤔

So Xavier getting your phone number without your consent and texting you, and Caleb drugging you and locking you so you can't leave is fine, but you draw the line at Valko's behavior? I fully understand if he's not your type, but let's not be hypocrites here.
