@KalmanYeger These guys are quick to condemn swastikas painted on buildings or flown in flags but nary a word when pro jihadist mobs rampage through a Jewish neighborhood terrifying local residents

Buffer Zones for houses of worship and schools
Thank you @GovKathyHochul and legislature and their leaders

Today, I spoke on the Assembly floor to explain my vote in favor of legislation that requires a 50-foot buffer zone in front of houses of worship, educational institutions and community centers during protests.
“No New Yorker should ever be forced to choose between their personal safety and attending religious services.”
.@AgudahNews joins in commending the passing of this historic legislation establishing clear buffer zones around houses of worship, schools and other institutions.

We commend @GovKathyHochul and the state legislature for taking decisive action to protect New Yorkers by passing ‘buffer zone’ legislation.

@JabariBrisport Senator maybe you're not aware but Palestine had an opportunity to be "free" on at least 4 different occasions. 1947 partition, 2000 Camp David, 2001 Taba and the 2008 offer from Olmert to Abbas. Each time they turned it down and either attacked Israel or turned to terror
Nonsense like this is divisive and destructive to our state. It is my highest priority to prevent such an unacceptable and reckless measure from ever being seriously considered in the state legislature.
They were told they will be able to return to their homes. Those that stayed became fully integrated into Israeli society serving in the knesset, military, police and even Supreme Court. Facts Matter.
In 1947 the UN voted on a partition plan which would have created two states. Israel accepted it the Arabs did not and attacked Israel instead. Those that left were not driven out but fled with their "leaders" telling them that the Jews will be driven into the sea
Today marks Nakba Day, an annual day of remembrance to commemorate the expulsion of more than 700,000 Palestinians between 1947 and 1949 during the creation of the State of Israel and the year that followed.
Inea is a New Yorker and a Nakba survivor. She shared her story with us — one of home, tradition and memory over generations.

In honor of Shabbos 250 Rabbi @ADMotzen reflects on the privilege American Jews have to live in a country where not only do we have the freedom to observe Shabbos, but to have the @POTUS encourage us to do so. https://t.co/koTZjbW0kj
@bradlander@nyuniversity@NYPD6Pct Notice how easy it is for politicians to condemn a Nazi flag hanging at NYU, yet how hard it is for them to condemn a masked mob of terrorist supporters gathered on the streets of Brooklyn to harass the Jews.

A heartfelt Letter to the Editor published in the Sullivan County Democrat this week is drawing attention after a local resident praised a young Orthodox Jewish man for stopping to help during a roadside emergency on Route 17.
@SullCoDemocrat
@claireforny Jordan then went and actually occupied the West Bank and controlled it for 19 years until they attacked Israel in 1967. So if anyone stole that land it was Jordan. Perhaps study some history
@claireforny This land was never "stolen". It was part of the British mandate of 1917. When the mandate expired the UN passed a partition plan actually would have created a Palestinian state. Only Israel accepted the partition and was promptly attacked by all the Arab nations
