Honored to be invited to pitch at Hong Kong Cyberport Investors Network (CIN) Pitch Day on 12 Feb. OFFGRID is building 2 things that should sit together:
1. Ticketing that turns event traffic into owned community
2. Fanvestment that lets fans co-fund the next show, release, or IP

Honored to be invited to pitch at Hong Kong Cyberport Investors Network (CIN) Pitch Day on 12 Feb at Soho House. We share what we’re building at OFFGRID: ticketing that converts event traffic into owned community, + Fanvestment that lets fans co-fund the next show, release, or IP

[Shawn L @YSLS990]

This is exactly why we chose live events as the starting point.

The context is already there.
The energy is already there.

Good products should work with human behavior, not fight it.

[OFF GRID TICKETING | Events x Social x Rewards @OFFGRID_DAY]

Most social apps ask you to start conversations from scratch.

At live events, the conversation already exists.
Music. Crowd. Shared moment.

All that is missing is a simple way to connect without breaking the flow.

[Shawn L @YSLS990]

If you have spent time at concerts, DJ nights, or livehouse shows, you know this is real.

New Year’s Eve just compresses it into one night.

We have been watching this behavior for a long time.
Now we are finally building for it

[OFF GRID TICKETING | Events x Social x Rewards @OFFGRID_DAY]

New Year’s Eve is when strangers become friends in minutes.

Crowded rooms.
Shared countdowns.
Zero context, instant connection.

Live events already do the hard part.

We are building the missing layer.

[Shawn L @YSLS990]

After working on concerts, DJ nights, and livehouse shows across Asia, one thing keeps repeating.

Live events naturally create social energy.
Most platforms are not designed for that moment.

This is why we are building OFFGRID this way.

[OFF GRID TICKETING | Events x Social x Rewards @OFFGRID_DAY]

Most social platforms are built for before the event.

Live events happen in the moment.

That gap is where the most interesting connections are lost.

We think that gap should not exist.

[Shawn L @YSLS990]

Huge congrats to @HashGlobal & @yzilabs on this milestone!
Excited that OFF GRID will be part of building the @BNBCHAIN ecosystem together, helping push Web3 adoption forward. 🚀🌕

[Hash Global @HashGlobal]

Excited to have the support of @yzilabs for our First Compliant BNB Yield Fund — bridging TradFi capital with the fast-growing BNB ecosystem.

We see BNB’s role in Web3 as pivotal, much like Nvidia’s in semiconductors.

With partners like @KGIAsia, we’re making secure, liquid, yield-driven products accessible to more investors. 🤝
