The hypocrisy could not be clearer.
Turkish player Merih Demiral was banned from Euro 2024 for making the Bozkurt (Grey Wolf) hand sign - a symbol of national pride.

Meanwhile, Greek Cypriot basketball player Nikos Stylianou competes freely with an Enosis flag tattoo on his arm - a symbol of hatred that represents the violent campaign to annex Cyprus to Greece, which led to bloodshed, ethnic cleansing, and decades of division.

One is punished for expressing cultural identity. The other is celebrated despite carrying the mark of an ideology that destroyed coexistence on the island.

This is not neutrality - it is double standards.
