Overall Winners:.Hafsa Ibrahim Adan and Asha Harun Yarow from SENIOR CHIEF ADANO GIRLS, Wajir County, are Form 3 students who came up with an AI-Based Environmental Monitoring and Drought Risk Prediction System for Climate Vulnerable Communities in North Eastern Kenya.

This International Week of the Deaf, we’re opening up conversations around creating inclusive spaces for deaf people. In our mission to ensure that #STEMEducation is accessible to all, we have had deaf students participate in our school outreaches and at the National Exhibition.

@Zero_bionic @WFDeaf_org Through our partnership with @Zero_bionic , we’ve been able to pilot assistive technologies in schools. Zerobionic has been developing AI-powered robotic systems using recycled plastics that can translate speech into sign language and sign language back into text.

Happy International Literacy Day!
Through our outreaches, AI training & Code Clubs, we’ve been helping students build digital skills since 2025. We’ve seen them learn basic coding, use AI, and apply these skills to work on their ideas and turn them into working prototypes.

We love to see students grow beyond innovation. As they work on their ideas, they’re also learning how to communicate, collaborate, and come out of their shells. We hear stories of students who barely spoke in class now able to express themselves, and it's a joy to witness.

Through our partnership with Greydale Africa's Luwezo Initiative, we had students from Mogra Rescue Centre attend our Exhibition. We hope to provide the students with the mentorship they require to explore their career choices & compete alongside other young scientists in future.

@safaricom_WIT @SafaricomPLC With the Tech Category having the most projects this year, it was meaningful to engage with the learners on data protection and software engineering. The session helped them have an understanding of what such careers look like and how they can continue developing their ideas.

This #WorldHumanitarianDay, we honour the humanitarian workers supporting refugee children & families in #Dadaab with essential child protection services.

Thanks to the Kenya Humanitarian Fund, UNICEF & partners are providing case management, psychosocial support & counselling.
