Jonathan Lewis Jr., a 17-year-old high school student from Las Vegas, tragically lost his life following a violent assault involving a group of teenagers over stolen wireless headphones and a cannabis vape pen. This incident occurred near Rancho High School in Las Vegas, where Lewis was a student. He was defending another student at the time of the attack. After the assault, Lewis was found unconscious and severely beaten, eventually succumbing to his injuries, which included “nonsurvivable head trauma,” as determined by doctors at the University Medical Center of Southern Nevada. His death was officially attributed to blunt force trauma according to an autopsy performed by the Clark County coroner’s office.
Nine juveniles, aged between 13 to 17, have been taken into custody facing murder charges related to Lewis’s death. Four of the teenagers are being tried as adults due to their age, while the rest are held in a juvenile detention center. A 15-year-old among them has already pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter and will be committed to Child Correctional Services, with two others under 16 also pleading guilty to the same charge.
This incident has sparked a considerable amount of public and media attention, highlighting concerns over youth violence and the safety of students around school environments

The rest of the story.
Jolee Callan was an 18-year-old girl who tragically lost her life in 2015 at the hands of her ex-boyfriend, Loren Daniel Bunner. Callan, who was known for her vibrant personality and distinctive pink and purple hair, had recently started college and was in a new relationship when Bunner, who had exhibited possessive and jealous behavior during their relationship, lured her into going on a hike at Cheaha State Park in Alabama under the guise of being friends.
During the hike, Bunner chillingly documented their day on Instagram, posting several photos of Callan. In a horrific turn of events, he shot Callan twice, first in the back of her head and then between her eyes, before pushing her off a cliff. After the murder, Bunner called 911 to confess to the crime and waited for the police on the side of the road.
Initially, Bunner’s attorneys attempted to argue that he had Asperger’s syndrome and should be granted youthful offender status, which would limit his sentence to a maximum of three years. However, this claim was later overturned, and Bunner was tried as an adult. He pleaded guilty to the murder and was sentenced to 52 years in prison in July 2017. The case drew significant attention due to its tragic nature and the fact that Bunner had documented Callan’s final moments on social media.

The yacht “Chiron” was not raided in the traditional sense. Instead, it was part of a special demonstration by the Navy SEALs. This event took place in Newport Beach, California, and involved some aggressive flying and a commando raid on the yacht Chiron. The demonstration was a fundraising event for the SEAL Future Foundation, a charitable organization aimed at helping veteran Navy SEALs reintegrate into civilian life.
