LENAMIU PLS LOVE EP7

I've noticed something quite interesting about the different reactions from Thai fans and interfans to P' Dew's video of Lena comforting Miu on the plane.
I looked through around 20 major Thai fan accounts. They focused on the love and care between LenaMiu and there's speculation that she left her seat to seek comfort from Lena. Seeing Lena holding her, gently patting her head while she cried, clearly touched a lot of people.
Meanwhile, I've seen many interfans questioning whether P' Dew should have filmed and shared such a private, vulnerable moment.
I think both reactions are understandable. But I am thinking there's a cultural difference in what we choose to focus on.
For many Thai fans I observed, the emotional significance of that moment seemed to outweigh concerns about how it was captured. That doesn't mean they don't value privacy. But they chose to focus more on the other side, love and care. Some even thanks P'Dew for sharing.
But there's also some context worth considering.
Both Miu's and Lena's mums liked P' Dew's post. Miu herself responded with a heart, while Lena commented about P' Dew's umbrella turning inside out being funny.
I've also seen Miu secretly filming P' Dew on a plane before. So perhaps this kind of candid filming is already part of their dynamic.
Perhaps they're simply more comfortable with filming each other than we know.
We don't know whether P' Dew asked permission before posting. She may well have. We also don't know what happened before or after that moment.
I'm not suggesting that being close to someone automatically gives you permission to share their vulnerable moments.
But P' Dew knows them personally. We don't. She may have understood the situation, their boundaries and what they were comfortable sharing far better than any of us watching from outside.
I think this is where cultural perspectives become interesting. We can all value both privacy and affection, yet place different emphasis on them depending on the context.
Perhaps we should be careful not to judge someone else's actions entirely through our own cultural expectations, especially when we don't have the full picture.
