For regional adversaries - Israel prominent among them - the SOM-J fundamentally alters the strategic calculus. Pushing Türkiye into a corner or provoking a conflict means facing a military capable of striking critical infrastructure, naval vessels, and command nodes from hundreds of kilometers away, remaining completely undetected until the final moments of impact.

Of course, in contrast to other countries in the region, Türkiye isn't using these weapons to intimidate or bully any other nations. It's just a matter of fact that Türkiye is strong and more than able to defend itself. This obviously while believing, as Turks always say: peace at home, peace in the world.

But in order to have that peace, you need to be strong. That's why Türkiye has developed such a powerful and impressive military industry. Not to terrorize others, but to make sure that every other country in the region (and in the world) understands that it's better to leave Türkiye alone.

We've seen with Israel's recent behavior that this is of vital importance. Because Israel is attacking just about every regional country that it deems beatable. Netanyahu is out of control.

Perhaps that a show of strength will control him.
