@Punjto Multiple innocent players were affected, but don’t worry, once Easy Anti-Cheat is fully implemented, it’ll interfere with DMA providers and probably only detect 2 out of the 20 cheat providers currently available for R6.
@TheWookawoo Welcome to Ubisoft, a dogshit company that still can’t detect cheats properly, sends C&Ds, hires former cheat developers, and keeps paying for more anti-cheat solutions that seem to do nothing. So instead, let’s just mass-ban account buyers and call it a day.
@Honest_Ronaldo7@millionaireubi Yes, I understand that, but my point is that they did falsely ban users. I’d estimate around 20–30% of the bans could have affected innocent players.
@IceColdR6 A lot of innocent players got falsely banned because their accounts looked suspicious or they were playing from a different state than usual. Ubisoft can’t seem to detect cheats properly, so they resorted to mass-banning account buyers. Now they’re planning to add Easy Anti-Cheat
@HumbleeR6 It’s because Ubisoft will lose even more of their player base. They’re already losing money with all these changes they’re making. They don’t give a fuck about the community anymore it’s all about squeezing money out of innocent players.
@ooziieG The Legend division will be filled with cheaters once account buyers level their accounts back up. Then you’ll see the whole community complaining about it.
@Ungy69 Ubisoft honestly doesn’t seem to give a fuck about low-ranked cheaters. That’s where most cheaters are at right now since everyone is ranking back up after the account buyers got hit with bans.
@SenValeTV I mean, Ubisoft hardly detects providers anymore. They just seem to ban around 50% of the users and call it a day. Full detections hardly happen anymore.
@Kordooooooooooo I guess y’all don’t understand that the Legend division is also going to be filled with cheaters. Cheats have already managed to bypass all the requirements needed to reach the Legend division.
@Mxntiis@Rainbow6Game@UbisoftSupport These changes were made because ragers were just raging their way up the ranks. Nowadays, you hardly see any rage cheaters, since most of them have left the scene. It’s the same with rage cheat providers, so at this point, there’s really no reason to keep the stat bans the same.
@DamnDyzma People in the community seem to think these bans are all just cheater bans. Most of them are actually bought-account bans or stat bans. The anti-cheat has stayed the same, and the providers are still up without any of them getting waved.
