@jirouwife and their initial story structure (u know which ones I'm taking about). That's why many kr bl stories weakened in later seasons. The authors simply lost the vision of their own stories
@jirouwife Kr bl readers mostly either worship the writers like they do no wrong or trash them if things don't go their way. However, tbh, many kr bl writers care too much & indulge the tastes & opinions of readers, to the point of making their stories stray away from the initial setups
icos told a poignant story abt learning to take accountability & how consequences of a choice you make under duress or coercion are ur own, so u have to learn to make choices for urself & then everyone who read it was like i cant believe that dumb bitch fucks up at every turn
fandoms used to be so fun and liberating, fiction used to be a way to escape reality until normies came into our space and brought back the “reality” we were escaping. if yall cant function w/o reality pls do us a favor and watch documentaries leave “FICTION” tf alone
Funerals're sorrowful, weddings're joyous.I depart from the mortal realm to the underworld, with incense, candles, paper horses & a bridal sedan chair prepared. Meng Po offers the nuptial cup. White paper, red robes, miles of suona horns. Inseparable in life, inseparable in death
@joowonsdyh Her story's the outcome of many small elements gathered from stories of similar themes. Maybe even she herself doesn't understand why she made the story the way it's,so when it became too much for her,she just left a bunch of plotholes & wrapped up the story quickly to end it all
@joowonsdyh Her ambition is bigger than her capability. She threw in too many factors trying to make the story & characters deep and didn't know how to handle them later. That's why the expectation is high but the reality is lackluster.
@joowonsdyh WS's advertised more heavily that Shutline on the official page tho. I believe it doesn't have less readers than Shutline. When two mafia-themed stories're published from the same publisher, esp when being the late comer, she opted for the LT theme to make hers stand out
@joowonsdyh As the 1st published story, she knew what she wanted when choosing that theme and she gained it. For her, that's a success. Ppl may expect more with the way she talked online, but she's a mediocre writer at best. She did shine in illustration side tho
@joowonsdyh It could have been better story-wise but it won't pull readers in initially and make as much noice as it's now with the love-triangle marketing. Negative fame is still fame. Discourse's also a way to make the story viral.
i’ve always said captive prince has the highest amount of talented, mature writers that i’ve ever seen in any other fandom and seeing the comments and qrts in this it’s essy to see it’s because it filters out the dumbest people without an ounce of reading comprehension 😭😭
It makes sense now. When sm young who's used to live in the shadow is given an open door to a new world, there're 2 types, one who couldn't adapt & recoil further into their own shell, the other who's absorbed into the new world, loses themselves in it & forget what really matter
